CSP!(Community Service Project since Community Involvement Project is not enough as we must SERVICE! not only be INVOLVED!) It is a fun and great learning experience! And I'm not just saying this because this is de model answer we should write on our reflections =X Labels: CSP
Csp really taught me lots of things =D
There were some really memorable incidents while we were doing our CSP,
And most of my CSPs were done wif ziggie(zhiqi =D)
1st CSP: Memorable stuff... was when we walked around asking people for money money money n donations for hope centre for de underpriviledged children =D it was truly a learning experience since this was my very first time doing flag dayiish stuff. When we were all tired and sad cos no one wanted to donate to us, some lil kids would run up to us and donate n they were soo cute XD and then we would anyhow give out de stuff that we were supposed to "sell" (eg. they donate $1 we gib them 1 keychain, they donate $2 we gib them one sticky notepad, they donate $4 we gib them a big fat notebook, etc.) Also, we learnt that bus drivers at de bus interchange were happy ppl!(to me, happy people in this case means willing to donate =D ) They were all like: Eh got some NYGH girls doing flagday, lets all donate. So we were happy and kept visiting them till they were kinda irritated wif us =X Then there were all de other rdm ppl who were doing flagday too and telling each other to jia you, and we made fwens wif de flyer ppl dere too and we told them we'll take manymany of their flyers if they donated =D
Hope Centre flagday + Wristband flagday thingy: This was reallyyyyy tiring cos we were doing flagday for like 8hrs straight x.X AND IT WAS RAINING!! and there was no shelter where we were trying to get ppl to donate cos we werent allowed in MRTs or shopping centres T.T So i learnt that people would be less likely to donate if it was a rainy day cos they were all in sheltered places, hurrying towards sheltered places, or just too upset by de rain that they were in no mood to donate =( So we went to bug de bus stop aunties n uncles and one friendly uncle got all de aunties to donate to us =D and de aunties doanted lots cos they all had kids or wadeva n wanted to get stuff to gib them n de keychains were pwetty! so they bought lots of them =D Then de uncle wanted to sell us his bags of stuff at first, but we kept saying no, den after they all donated we kept saying ty ty ty n de uncle wanted to gib us his bags of stuff o.o den we said nooo ty cos like very weird take de uncle's bags of stuff for no reason >.< us ="X" them ="X" tins ="X">.<>.< wristband ="D">.< exchange ="X" donate ="X">.< pens ="X" wristbands ="D" out ="(">.< out ="X">.< patients ="D" her ="X">.< so qii went all de way up to de second floor, den she went down de escalator just to pick up de 10 cent coin de guy dropped =X that time we were super despo for donations x.x Den dere was this lil girl who came up to us n donated like 20cents, but she was sooo cute n she was eyeing de teru-teru-bozu things so i just gave her 1 even though their supposed to cost $1.50 x.X Den she was soo happy n bouncing off. BUT! a few mins later, she came bk wif like a BUNCH of girls x.x n they all donated 20cents n such n mi n qii just kept giving them de teru teru bozus cos they were all eyeing them x.x n den we ran out of teru teru bozus to gib out n de bunch of girls were all happy =X o well. at least some ppl r happy ^.^"
This CSP was our most sucessful one! cos me n qii both had nearly full n super heavy cans n we felt really proud of ourselves ^^
THEREFORE! CSP is a fun n greate learning experience =D
